Not “Birds of Britain” – I don’t think. I came across these a few months ago in London and I brought them to the USA to sell as part of my small but burgeoning English Pottery business.
Note that nowhere does it say “Made in China”…..
Had a great chat about this in Portabello market today; I stumbled upon a Portmeirion Gin Bottle in “Night Flowering Cactus” and the stallholder and I traded thoughts on this whole Made In China/Made in Indonesia evolution in Portmeirion, Royal Albert…..

This must be one of my first finds in a charity shop a couple of years ago (post Luxembourg). This is a not-as-well known pattern, but it is still a Susan Ellis Williams’ design with her trademark itty bitty bugs and moths.
